Welcome to Brenham Middle School!

I hope that you will use this website as a place for information and communication with Brenham Middle School.

May is here!  What a great school year it's been.  As always at the middle school level, our students have had their share of "growing pains", but they have impressed us with their many successes.  We're so proud of the progress they have made since the beginning of the school year, and it's amazing to see how much they have learned!  We hope they can continue to focus on schoolwork and good manners until the last day of school- we appreciate our parents and the community for their support in helping these students grow into productive, conscientious citizens.

After a month of preparation and testing, we now turn to May for review and recreation.  Here's a brief overview of what's happening in May:

May 5-8         6th Grade Outdoor Classroom Trips

May 9                   Maifest Holiday

May 13          TAKS 5th Grade Math Re-testing

May 16          Academic Day for both grades

May 20          5th Grade Award Assemblies
                        ( 8:15 am, 9:30 am, 1:15 pm, 2:15 pm)
                        6th Grade Horseshoe Junction Trip

May 21          6th Grade Award Assembly
                        (all sixth graders at 9 am)

May 22          6th Grade Field Day

May 23          5th Grade Field Day

May 26                  Memorial Day Holiday

May 27          5th Grade Volleyball Tournament/
                        6th Grade Skating at Silver Wings

May 28          5th Grade Skating/
                        6th Grade Volleyball Tournament

May 29          Last Day of School/Early Dismissal


We express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has volunteered in any capacity to help our students.  Parents, thanks for a wonderful year!
