**Due to the frequent misplacing of assignments, the students will receive only one copy of class assignments. **
Classroom Rules

Grading Policy
Tests -----------------50%
Daily work ------------20%
Homework ------------20%
Benchmark Assessment ------10%
Homework/ Late Work Policy
Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday to reinforce the skills taught in class. The homework is due the next day. If an assignment is late, 15 points will be deducted from the grade. All homework grades that are below a "70" can be reworked for a "70". The deadline dates for late work and reworks will be given to the student and written on the weekly newsletter.
Conduct Folders
Conduct folders will be sent home each Friday. They are to be signed and returned on Monday.
Progress Reports
Progress reports will be sent home during the middle of each six weeks.
Six Weeks Assessments
At the end of each six weeks, an assessment will be given covering the material taught for that six weeks. These assessments give you information on how your child is doing and also how he/she is doing according to the state skills. These scores give us a good indication of how well your child is doing in order to meet the standard for the TAKS test. The Math TAKS test will be given on April 8, 2008.
