The Brenham High School Choral Department features many different types of ensembles and music instruction classes. Each ensemble stresses the basic fundamentals of music, vocal production, and individual and group performance techniques.

Choirs
Chorale - This group is composed of the top vocalists in the program. It is a Varsity Mixed Choir. This group is auditioned and requires after school rehearsals. Performances include concerts, contests, and community activities.
Concert Choir - This group is the Junior Varsity Choir. It is a Mixed Choir that performs at concerts, contests, and community activities.
Encore - This group is the Brenham High School Show Choir. Students must be enrolled in Brenham High School Chorale and must audition for this group. The students perform vocal jazz and pop music with choreography. Their performances include concerts, contests, and community activities. Extra time commitment is required.
Classes
Music Appreciation - Students learn about aspects of Music History, Theory, Styles, and Composers. This class fulfills the Fine Arts Requirement.
