Brenham ISD celebrates National Physical Therapy Month

The Brenham Independent School District is proud to celebrate National Physical Therapy Month and recognize Brenham ISD Physical Therapist Lori Pittman.

Lori Pittman, PT has been a physical therapist for 30 years. She is a graduate of Brenham High School, Blinn College, attended Texas A&M and graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1987. Her career has focused on serving individuals in the Brenham community, primarily the geriatric and pediatric populations.  Her experience includes working at the Brenham State Supported Living Center, at the Trinity Medical Center Hospital and outpatient Trinity Physical Rehabilitation Center, and at all of the area nursing homes in Brenham. She has also worked with children in the Hempstead, Navasota, and Burleson-Milam County school district educational settings for the past 13 years. She is also employed on an as needed basis for physical therapy visits for Texas Home Health.

Lori is currently employed full time for Brenham ISD, since 2010, where she works with many children with special needs throughout the district. She is passionate about these students, is an advocate for their needs, and loves helping them achieve their fullest potential in the educational setting.
