Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services and Director of Safety & Security
Ms. Reimer is the new Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services for the 2022 - 2023 school year.
Ms. Reimer has been with Brenham ISD for over 3 years, and previously was the campus registrar for Brenham Elementary School.
Kay Domel, SSC
Student Services Coordinator / Homeless Liaison / McKinney Vento Liaison / Foster Care Liaison
Mrs. Domel has served Brenham ISD in many capacities throughout her 32 years of service. She began as a 5th-grade English Language Arts teacher and moved into the Assistant Principal role at Alton Elementary ten years later. Additional journeys within Brenham ISD include serving as the Administrator of DAEP, where her vision of PRIDE Academy was born, and as the Brenham Jr High 8th grade Assistant Principal.
As the Student Services Coordinator, Mrs. Domel assists parents, students, school teachers, and leaders with attendance and truancy and serves as the McKinney-Vento and Foster Care Liaison. She also serves as the caretaker of The Cub's Closet, a clothing resource for Brenham ISD families.
Community Engagement Coordinator
Mrs. Mason led as the principal of Krause Elementary School in Brenham ISD for 10 years, and has 18 years of experience in education. As the Community Engagement Coordinator, Mason helps the district in providing programs and services to promote and encourage parents to participate in their child's education. Mason also helps arrange parent meetings and parenting classes, in addition to compiling information and resources to activate parent participation.
Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services
Mr. Gillentine has been serving as Brenham ISD's Assistant Superintendent since the summer of 2021. Mr. Gillentine has over 22 years of experience in the K-12 school system serving in different capacities.
He began his career in education as a teacher and principal at Pine Tree ISD. He has served as an assistant principal, principal, director of administrative services, and director of student services.
