Congratulations to this month's recipients of the You Make a Difference Award!

This month’s You Make A Difference award recognizes two community partners who dedicated their time and resources to ensure children in our community would experience a magical holiday season. Christi Yackel joined Amanda Stolz, whose family has volunteered with Toys for Tots for years, to bring this special program to Washington County. Toys for Tots is a not for profit charity run by the United States Marines which distributes toys to impoverished children. Toys for Tots organizes communities to work together to deliver a message of hope to families in need. Last month the Toys for Tots Washington County effort served 462 children in our community, providing 3-4 toys for each child.
