BES principal Jennifer Vest selected to attend program at Harvard Graduate School of Education

Brenham Elementary School principal Jennifer Vest has been selected to participate in the 2019 Raise Your Hand Texas Leadership Program titled Improving Schools: The Art of Leadership. Vest is among 100 school leaders who were selected to attend the program in June at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

“It is my honor and privilege to represent Brenham ISD and Brenham Elementary this summer at Harvard University and I am so very thankful for the generous sponsorship of Raise Your Hand Texas, says Vest of the opportunity. “Being a lifelong learner is a hallmark of educators who are always wishing to improve outcomes for students, and I look forward to learning and growing as an educator and leader to support my campus and our district.”

Vest was selected because of her potential to improve outcomes at her campus and affect significant change within our district and throughout our region. Vest not only receives an all-expenses paid training opportunity, but also becomes a member of the statewide network of over 1,200 Raise Your Hand Texas alumni.
