Changes to Remote Learner Meal Pick-Up Distribution Site Locations

BRENHAM, TX - THURSDAY, AUGUST 27, 2020
Effective Monday, August 31, 2020, Brenham ISD will implement changes to the Remote Learner Meal Pick-Up distribution site locations. The meal service for all remote learners will be distributed from one central location. Brenham Junior High School is the designated drive-thru campus for all remote learner students. Pick-up will be available from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Signs will continue to be posted outside E. Tom Green St. directing you to the Snack Bar door, near the bus entry at Brenham Junior High.
Students will not need to be present in the vehicle to pick up their meal. A parent or guardian may bring the student’s ID card or Remote Learner Meal ID card to obtain their meal. Parents can pick up the Remote Learner Meal ID card at their child’s campus.
The drive-thru meal menu will be posted monthly on the Brenham ISD Child Nutrition website http://brenham.healtheliving.net/what-we-do/menus/. Remote learner parents or students will be required to order their meal by 9:00 a.m. each day. Please complete the order form at the link below.
Meals will be charged depending on the student’s paid, reduced, or free meal status. Parents will have two options to deposit money into their student account. Visit the EZ School Pay website www.ezschoolpay.com or bring cash or check to the Child Nutrition office @ 1301 Niebuhr St.
Families may apply for free or reduced meals by visiting http://brenham.healtheliving.net/.
The changes to the remote learner meal pick-up will not impact meals for on campus students. If parents or students have questions, they are encouraged to call the Child Nutrition Department at 979-277-3750.
