    K'aaliyah Gibson – Brenham High School Class of 2029

    Brenham ISD and Appel Ford continued their successful attendance incentive program during the 2025–2026 school year by awarding a brand-new 2025 Ford Bronco to one deserving Brenham High School student.

    K'aaliyah Gibson, a member of the Class of 2029, was selected as the winner during the second annual Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway drawing. Brenham High School Principal Michael Watts and Appel Ford Owner Jon Hill surprised K'aaliyah and her mother, Ashlay, with the exciting news following the final drawing.

    The Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway recognizes students who demonstrate commitment, responsibility, and consistency by maintaining perfect attendance during six-week grading periods throughout the school year. Students earn opportunities to be entered into the final drawing by showing up every day and making attendance a priority.

    Nineteen Brenham High School students qualified for the final drawing during the 2025–2026 school year, representing an outstanding commitment to academic success and personal responsibility.

    Brenham ISD is grateful for the continued partnership and generosity of Appel Ford and looks forward to continuing this impactful program for future students.

  • 2024–2025 Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway Winner:

    Javier Rodriguez Rivera – Brenham High School Class of 2028

    Brenham ISD and Appel Ford proudly celebrated the first-ever winner of the Brenham High School Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway during the 2024–2025 school year.

    Javier Rodriguez Rivera, a member of the Class of 2028, was selected as the grand prize winner and received a 2021 Ford Escape S generously donated by Appel Ford. The vehicle was presented at no cost to Javier and his family, including tax, title, and license.

    The Perfect Attendance Car Giveaway was launched as a partnership between Brenham ISD and Appel Ford to encourage students to be present, engaged, and successful in school. Throughout the year, students earned entries into the drawing by maintaining perfect attendance during each six-week grading period, with additional entries earned for every additional six weeks of perfect attendance.

    The program proved to be an incredible success, with hundreds of students earning perfect attendance during each grading period and demonstrating a commitment to showing up every day ready to learn.

    Brenham ISD extends its sincere appreciation to Jon Hill, Mike Leonard, and the entire Appel Ford team for helping make this life-changing opportunity possible for our students.
