Join us this September for an extra special edition of our Annual Brenham ISD Distinguished Alumni Celebration as we commemorate the 150th anniversary of Brenham ISD—the first public school district in the state of Texas!

This year’s event will not only honor four remarkable new inductees to our Distinguished Alumni list, but will also celebrate a century and a half of educational excellence, community pride, and student success. This September, Brenham ISD invites you to a truly historic edition of our Annual Distinguished Alumni Celebration, honoring not only our newest class of outstanding alumni—but also the legacy of a school district that helped shape Texas education.

In 1875, the people of Brenham made history by establishing the first public school district in the State of Texas funded by local taxation. Now, 150 years later, we are proud to celebrate a legacy of learning, leadership, and community impact that has touched generations of students, educators, and families.

Whether you walked the halls of Brenham High School decades ago or are a more recent graduate, this is your moment to reconnect, celebrate, and be part of history. Help us honor our past, celebrate our present, and inspire our future—together as alumni, educators, and lifelong Cubs.
