Brenham ISD board of trustees approves new assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction

Tonight the Brenham ISD board of trustees voted to approve the hiring of Brandi Hendrix as the district's new assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction at its regularly scheduled meeting.


Brandi Hendrix is a graduate of Texas A&M. She has 20 years of experience in education, with 16 of those years in Montgomery ISD. She has served as a teacher, curriculum coordinator, director of special programs, associate principal of curriculum and instruction, and has spent the last 3 years serving as the principal of Montgomery High School. She and her husband have been married for 26 years and have 2 children in college, one Aggie and one Hardin Simmons Cowgirl.


"I am so thankful to Dr. Jackson and the Board for giving me the opportunity to serve the Brenham school community,” said Hendrix. “I am excited to challenge the norms to create a 21st-century educational experience for our students that prepares them for life beyond K-12. I choose Brenham!"
