The Big Event started in 1982 at Texas A&M University. It has grown to become the biggest one-day, student-led service project in the United States. 

Following their example, Brenham will have its seond annual Big Event with Brenham GameChangers and Brenham ISD on October 10, 2026! High school students will be able to join this one-day service event.

There will be different projects happening in Brenham ISD and across the entire community, and students will work alongside volunteers from our community.

The goal of the Brenham Big Event is to bring our community together by helping others and taking care of the campuses we use every day.
